About the Project
Orchard was developed as part of a visual identity rollout for a fictional supermarket.
The Concept behind Orchard were the close links between orchards and the shopping experience.

There are many similar links between orchards and supermarkets. The process of actually getting the items, orchard rows and supermarket aisles and many more.
Take the circular shape "O" from Orchard and combine that with what you could imagine the birds eye view of a single fruit tree and you have the Orchard logo. Simple.
A colour palate was developed straight from related images, then converted to the closest matching Pantone colours.
A Orchard web app allows online shopping in addition to suggesting recipes, discounts and more.
The web app has been optimised for newer high resolution devices such as the iPhone 4s. This means that the app looks great no matter where you are viewing it.
Features such as fixed navigation and breadcrumb navigation and are not only familiar, they also make sure the most important information can be accessed quickly and easily.
Product pages include information on products such as ingredients, nutritional information, recipes and more. Everything you need and nothing you don't.
